Half of the world's population is at risk of malaria.

Our main objective is first to reduce the number of cases of malaria by controlling the malaria-bearing mosquito and interrupting transmission.

Inappropriate use of antimalarial drugs in the past century contributed to widespread resistance in the malaria parasite.

One in five of all childhood deaths in Africa are due to malaria.

Every year there are about 250 million malaria cases and nearly one million deaths.

Troy's Team

Troy Alexander, a college sophomore who attends University Park United Methodist Church and a basketball player, decided to raise funds for Nothing But Nets in order to save lives from malaria.

Troy says "I originally had set a goal of raising $1000 for Nothing But Nets. I was blown out of the water when I reached this goal within only a couple of days. Since then I have now set my goal at $5000. I am at almost $2,500!! I have been blessed with lots of help on this project and I feel like it's really starting to pick up. We are still working to get the word out any way that we can. Some people have found some difficulty with navigating the site in order to donate. Click here to Join My TEAM.
